Meet Cybersecurity Engineer, Hannah Thompson
As part of a series called “Meet our Deeps,” we introduce you to Hannah Thompson, a cybersecurity engineer at DeepSeas. Let’s dive in to learn more about Hannah’s work and career.
Q: Hi, Hannah. Can you tell us more about your current role as a cybersecurity engineer at DeepSeas?
A: I am a systems security and network security engineer and currently lead the learning, metrics, and resolution crew at DeepSeas within Professional Services. In this role, I provide operational guidance directly to clients through delivering metric-based and strategic reporting. My work helps to align operational processes with assessment findings and reputable cyber defense frameworks.
Q: What do you enjoy most about your work?
A: I enjoy being able to leverage my technical background to effectively communicate cyber defense operations across multiple audiences. I also get excited about having the opportunity to create and implement effective data/metric collection and report automation deliverables.
Q: Please share a little bit with us about your career journey. Any major milestones you are proud of or particular hurdles you overcame?
A: Throughout my career, I have had the honor of being mentored by so many inspirational and hardworking people. I continue to be impressed with the caliber of outcomes produced by my leaders at DeepSeas. They also make time to encourage me to pursue my passions and care about me as an individual.
